Legal Grounds
Bergbanket B.V. processes personal data based on consent—for example, when a contact form is submitted via the website. Personal data is also processed when necessary for the performance of a contract with a customer or supplier. This includes situations such as requesting a quote, placing an order, or when Bergbanket B.V. places an order. In such cases, consent for processing may also be requested where possible. The legal bases for processing are therefore:
(i) consent, and/or (ii) the necessity of processing for the performance of a contract or to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract.

Data Recipients

In some cases, Bergbanket B.V. shares personal data with third parties that process data on its behalf. These parties are known as “processors.” Other than these processors, Bergbanket B.V. does not intend to share data with third parties, known as “recipients.”

"Third countries" are countries outside the European Union, except for those within the European Economic Area (Norway, Liechtenstein, and Iceland).
Bergbanket B.V. does not transfer personal data to third countries and has no intention of doing so.

Bergbanket B.V. retains personal data for different periods, depending on the category of data and how it was collected.

For data collected through website (contact) forms, a retention period of five years applies. For data collected via cookies, the retention periods specified in the Cookie Statement apply.

If no specific retention period is mentioned for certain data in this statement, the data will be kept for a maximum of one year following the end of (i) the relationship with the data subject or (ii) the applicable statutory retention period. After this period, the data will be permanently deleted.

Rights of the Data Subject

You may request access to, receipt of, correction, or deletion of your personal data from Bergbanket B.V. You may also object to the (further) processing of your data. If your data is being processed based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.
