Cracknels according to family recipe – with contemporary variations
Our cracknels are still prepared according to the original recipe of Grandpa Piet van den Berg. A traditional family recipe that guarantees quality and taste. Since the 1990s, we have expanded our range with new varieties, such as our popular cinnamon and caramel sticks.
We also offer other tasty varieties, such as vanilla and speculoos. The pretzels are available in two sizes: small and large – perfect for any time of day.

At Bergbanket, dough is key. All our biscuits are made with yeast dough that is given plenty of time to rise, giving them a unique and authentic taste. The addition of 28% butter also gives the biscuits a rich, creamy bite. The sugar gives the biscuit its characteristic crispy and sweet taste.
Our production process is carefully tailored to ensure that the taste and texture correspond exactly to the original, handmade recipe. This makes us the only bakery that produces cracknels in this traditional and artisanal way.
